The inspection was approved. Just the carpet & the transformation is complete.

Now it is clear that the cellar has provided valuable additional living space without the need of moving home.

At the decoration stage, the wasted cellar space is beyond recognition.

Plastering is complete.

With the plaster drying out, preparation for decoration can begin.

Now the immediate benefits of extra living space are becoming obvious.

After the basic conversion work, fittings are installed and the plastering is underway.

It is hard to visualise a comfortable environment at this stage.

The starting point, a typical damp, dark cellar. And like many cellars, there was not enough headroom, so excavation is the first step.
